'A fine magazine': the Irish Review

This online exhibit, ‘A fine magazine’: the Irish Review, historicizes the periodical Irish Review (1911-1914) within the revivalist and nationalist trends of early-twentieth-century Ireland. Despite its brief life, the Irish Review became an important forum for intellectuals, writers, artists and political activists of the Revival period. The exhibition tells the story of the magazine, of its editors, contributors and artists, and showcases images from items and copies of the Irish Review held in UCD Library Special Collections.
